Kienan is a fierce advocate for those who feel disempowered by the justice system. He works tirelessly to ensure that survivors’ voices are heard—no matter the circumstance. By helping survivors navigate the complicated legal process, Kienan lifts survivors up and empowers them to take back control over their lives.
Prior to joining the Network, Kienan was an Associate at Dinse, Knapp & McAndrew, one of Vermont’s premier law firms. He also clerked for Justice Robinson of the Vermont Supreme Court, where he honed is appellate advocacy working on a variety of constitutional law cases, and Judge Azrack of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, where he worked on complicated cases ranging from a civil rights suits brought against the NYPD for unlawful surveillance of Muslims to employment discrimination cases predicated on race and gender identity. When Kienan isn’t litigating on behalf of survivors, he can be found hiking with his husband and two dogs or swimming at the local YMCA.
