Anne Smith
Anne’s purpose at the Vermont Network is to end violence and oppression by encouraging every Vermonter to thrive. Her primary strategy is creating opportunities for learning. She believes that love and listening are our two greatest assets if we wish to create a more just world. Anne has been devoted to ending domestic and sexual violence and supporting victims for over 20 years. She has provided direct services, education and outreach, program coordination and facilitation in higher education, community and criminal justice settings.
Anne has a Master’s in Education from the University of Vermont, but she considers her most important life lessons to result from her two greatest teachers: her daughters.
