2021 Data Snapshot: Meeting Urgent Needs
[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Our 2021 Data Snapshot reflects the unique and persistent challenges that survivors have faced in the midst of the ongoing global pandemic. Member organizations answered 25% more hotline calls in 2021 than in the previous year and anecdotally report that the individuals they are supporting have increasingly complex needs and experience considerable hardships.
Survivors and advocates alike consistently report that housing is the most pressing need for victims and survivors. A lack of affordable housing creates a bottleneck in shelters and transitional housing. Supportive housing options are limited and emergency housing process regulations are complex and often create barriers to safety. The Vermont Network is committed to real solutions for the housing crisis, such as investing in affordable housing for Vermonters’ long-term well-being.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vcex_image image_id=”4902″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fvermontnetwork.flywheelsites.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2022%2F01%2F2021_NW_Data-Snapshot.pdf”][vc_separator color=”white” border_width=”5″][vcex_button url=”https://www.vtnetwork.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/2021_NW_Data-Snapshot.pdf” align=”center” css_wrap=”.vc_custom_1643147774563{padding-top: 20px !important;}”]View Snapshot[/vcex_button][/vc_column][/vc_row]
