Why Uplift

Ensuring a Safe Workplace Culture

Employers play a key role in shaping culture and changing social narratives. We need the powerful voices of employers to rise up and demand culture change to disrupt violence and improve lives both within and outside of the workplace.

People who experience violence might suffer from:

  • Unwanted contact from their abuser
  • Worry/loss of concentration
  • Absences & lateness
  • Job performance issues

Businesses Uplift VT is a coalition of Vermont business leaders who have pledged to actively engage in learning and activism that fosters a violence-free Vermont.
