2019 Data Snapshot: Meeting the Needs of Vermonters

Domestic and sexual violence occur in every community in Vermont and often, this harm is hidden from view.

Our new data snapshot helps provide context and shape to the experiences of thousands of Vermonters. In 2019 alone, Member Organizations of the Vermont Network helped 8,760 people. This year’s snapshot also highlights challenges survivors face in accessing housing, the deadly relationship between domestic violence and firearms, and the disproportionate impacts of gender based violence on incarcerated survivors and LGBTQ survivors.
