For over twenty years Michele has been honored to stand with survivors as they seek safety and justice for themselves and their families. She enjoys her work tremendously and is grateful to the survivors she has worked with for giving her more than she could ever give them.
Michele is the Supervising Attorney at the Vermont Network and supervises the Legal Assistance for Victims Legal Clinic providing representation to victims of sexual and domestic violence. During the ten years prior to joining the Network, Michele directed a litigation project at Legal Services of New Jersey representing victims of domestic violence. Michele also worked for the Battered Women’s Justice Project providing legal technical assistance on domestic violence issues for attorneys and other advocates. She attended law school at the University of Oregon while working for the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.
