Alex is an avid reader and a believer in the power of the visual. She brings passion and experience to the Network Library by using books and videos as a catalyst to enhance and strengthen our work to support all people to thrive and ending oppression and violence.
Alex has been with the Network since 2002 as the Clearinghouse and Resource Coordinator. In 2012, Alex founded the “Art for Shelter Project,” a yearly initiative that celebrates a Vermont artist and raises money to provide original art in shelters where survivors receive services. Alex has a B.A. in Social Psychology and a minor in Fine Arts from Connecticut College in her home state. Alex’s strengths lie in team-spirit, love of work, and creativity.
